JOHANNESBURG – 1 NIGHT
Your holiday starts with a night in Johannesburg. Explore the South Western Townships – short Soweto – on a guided tour. See the homes of Nobel peace prize winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, the ex wife of Nelson Mandela. Taste a local beer in one of the popular shebeen (pub). A visit of the Apartheid Museum is very moving, but also very educational as it illustrates the events and human stories that are part of South Africa’s history known as apartheid.
KRUGER NATIONAL PARK – 3 NIGHTS
Kapama Buffalo Camp is an intimate camp in the private Kapama Game Reserve. It’s the ideal place for an authentic safari experience. There are no fences, hence game is free to wander providing excellent possibilities of coming face to face with the wildlife. During the heat of the day you can relax on the patio or take a refreshing dip in the pool. At night the camp transforms into an African wonderland with kerosene flares strategically placed around the camp. It creates a true safari ambience.
VILANCULOS – 5 NIGHTS
Vilanculos is a vibrant little coastal town. It’s the ultimate destination if you want to experience colorful local culture and the fabulous beauty of the Bazaruto Archipelago. Stroll around town and have a cold drink at one of the ‘barracas’ (local bars). Explore the archipelago on romantic sunset dhow cruises. Saddle up for a relaxing ride along the beach or unwind during a full body massage. Of course water lovers won’t miss out either; scuba diving, kitesurfen, wakeboarding and stand-up paddling are all on the menu too in Vilanculos.
